The club organises two exhibitions each year, Railex and Risex, and opens its doors to members of the public for our annual open day where people can come and see what we do. We have also joined in Princes Risborough Festival which we call Festirail normally held in the summer.
Railex is our large finescale exhibition, where the quality of layouts is paramount, along with a great selection of traders for our visitors to buy their next models from.
The exhibition is held at the large Stoke Mandeville stadium in Aylesbury. Look out for details of our forthcoming exhibition at the Railex website:
Risex is our smaller family exhibition, where we offer a fun day out for the family with a good selection of interesting layouts with a few traders offering ready to run models, books and specilaist components. We also have a great second hand stall.
The exhibition is held at the community centre in Princes Risborough, now called the Wades Centre. Our 2022 Risex has had to be cancelled again, as the Wades Centre is being used as a Covid centre throughout February.
With our Open days we allow the public to visit on a day where we can show prospective members what we get up to.
We do this in our usual meeting place, currently the St Mary's Church Hall in Princes Risborough. We will announce here when this will happen this year.
