Limited Free parking for Railex visitors is available at Stoke Mandeville Stadium in marked bays.
We hope to secure additional free parking in Stoke Mandeville Hospital staff areas in the hospital grounds adjacent to the stadium car park but this cannot be
guaranteed, so we will keep you informed of any changes.
We would like recommend that visitors may like to use the town centre car parks and use the free and excellently restored Routemaster bus from the railway station to Railex that runs every hour.
Car parks in Aylesbury are free on Sunday and we recommend the long stay Friarscroft (588 places) car park close to the station which is £3 for all day on Saturday and free on Sunday detail on all town centre car
parks can be found here.
The roads around the stadium car parks are residential and although have no parking restrictions should you park there we would like to keep our neighbours happy so please abide with all road parking
regulations, park safely and keep all access areas and driveways clear.
Stoke Mandeville Hospital car parks that are located close to Railex are chargeable but at the weekends generally tend to be quiet. Charges are: 2 - 3 hours: £4.50 and 3 - 8 hours: £6.00.
See their website for full details.
Access from the hospital is next to the Cancer Care Unit, just follow the road from the pay & display carparks.
Railex continues to build on its high quality reputation with another exceptional show and attendance in 2011.
This confirms our aim to be one of the major model railway exhibitions in the country. It will be held over the last full weekend in May.
Don't take our word for it, check what other people have said about last year's show, and also see photos of Railex 2011 by checking out the following links:

We have again invited 20 outstanding layouts in scales up to and including 7mm Scale (O Gauge). The lists only contain layouts, trade and demos if attendance has been confirmed
in writing.
As in the past seven years we have included around 50 specialist manufacturers and traders all dedicated to the support of the model railway hobby. Within the trade
selection you can purchase ready to run models, kits, tools, transport books and videos. We also pride ourselves in supporting many of the specialist cottage
industries selling there own range of products that you are unlikely to find at many other shows, but are so important to the model railway hobby in general.
Please watch this space over the coming months for the very latest updates.
